International pop superstar Lady Gaga today announced plans for her next North American tour, entitled “The Monster Ball.” The tour will begin on November 27 in Montreal, and will wind up on January 21, 2010 in Gaga’s hometown, New York City. Kid Cudi will be the supporting act for the entire tour.

Says Lady Gaga, “The Haus of Gaga had been designing ‘The Monster Ball’ for premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London, but due to diligent work and preparation, ‘The Monster Ball’ will begin on November 27 in Montreal. ‘The Monster Ball’ is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever ‘pop electro opera.’”

Lady Gaga will release a re-package of her breakthrough album, The Fame,called The Fame Monster, earlier that week, on November 23. The re-package will include eight brand new songs, including the club-banging first single “Bad Romance.” Continues Lady Gaga, “A message to all my little monsters: The Fame Monster will come out four days before the first live show. All week, gossip sites have been abuzz with rumors that two of the fiercest divas in the game — Beyoncé and Lady Gaga — had joined forces on a super-secret video for B’s “Video Phone.”

It was a fairly big deal, and accordingly there’s been much quoting of “insider” sources and “my boy [who] worked as a stylist for [Gaga's] dancers,” but no confirmation from any major contributor to the project — until now.

On Thursday (October 15), a spokesperson for director Hype Williams confirmed to MTV News that that both Beyoncé and Gaga appear in the “Video Phone” clip, which Williams shot last weekend in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighborhood.

Williams’ spokesperson would not confirm any additional information about the “Video Phone” shoot, but, according to Life and Style magazine, security on set was extremely tight, and the video is shaping up to be a fashion bonanza, with Beyoncé wearing “a feathered dress” and Gaga sporting “something wild … the fashion is sick and insane.”

Mirroring the Life and Style report, another source posted on Pulse Music Board that the “Video Phone” clip was shot on a “closed set [with] no cameras or video phones” allowed. Apparently, the video version of the song — which is from Beyoncé’s 2008 I Am … Sasha Fierce album — features B and Gaga trading up-tempo verses, and sees Gaga adding an extra verse to the tune. The clip also features “lots of choreography” and “more dancers than the two girls [Beyonce is] always with.”

At press time, spokespeople for Beyoncé and Lady Gaga could not be reached or would not comment on the video.

She's releaseD "If I were a Boy", "Single Ladies", "Diva", "Halo", "Ego", "Sweet Dreams" , "Broken Hearted Girl" and now "Video Phone", with 'Ave Maria" to be released after that:hugesmile:. 9 songs of one album with no special edition. Madness, but proof of Beyonce's amazingness!

And it may not nessecaraly be in black and white. "Sweet Dreams" was mostly in colour and some of "Broken Hearted Girl" was too. And plus, all her vidoes bar "Suga Mama" before "I am...Sasha Fierce" have been in full colur, so here's hoping lol!


Anyways, I was think of all this with Gaga and Beyonce's remic of "Video Phone".
Right, so Beyonce does have a special edition that has already been relesed in Asia and Austrailia for "I am.. Sasha Fierce", but it hasn't been relelased here or America yet.
The Special Edition, like Gaga's Fame Monster, includes new tracks (just 3 so far) but also a DVD with all the video's.
However, the Video Phone remix hasn't been listed as a bonus track. Also, the special addition comes out here on the 2nd of November, WAY to short notice to get the video featuring Gaga out for promotion and the new version onto the album for production and distribution.

SO, I reckon that the video is either going to be
1. A new Beyonce track from the special editon, or
More likley i think
2. She has her 2nd leg in Europe coming up for the I am... tour, so I reckon that the video is just going to be used as an interleud during the show.

Hopefully though, they do release it.

Yep, like Leona's 'Secret', it's full of tracks that didn't make it onto the album plus a few tracks that are on The Fame. You can only buy it in the US or Japan though. :/
I haven't even got it myself yet, I'mma download it later today, it would be nice having those old Gaga songs on one album.

This week's Official UK Top 40 Singles chart became the first chart since Week 1 of 2009 to be Gaga-free!

The chart posted today contains no Gaga songs, after her singles "LoveGame" and "Paparazzi" both fell out of the chart.

In the Albums Chart, "The Fame" has remained in the Top 40 since it's release in the second week of January.

So today I was in at the doctors and in the waiting room. So I picked up an issue of "W" magazine, just to flick through to have a look at the fashion photography and I looked at the cover and it had Cate Blanchette on the front and the date read OCT. '07 I think.
So I was flicking through it and there, smack bang in the middle of the magazine between an ad for Agent Provocature and another one for Moschino I think, was an interview with none other then Lady Gaga!
Full bown head of hair and all! :O
It was really bizarre. They stated that she was one of the leading figures of the underground club scene in new york and she had just signed on to Interscope records and was just about to start on her debut album.
She basically sad that even though she was struggling to make ends meat, that it didn't put her off from buying expensive designer clothes cuz she said something like "I may be homeless, but at least I'd be ****ing gorgeous" lol!
They also commented on her being renowned for preforming in little other then her underware.

It was really weird. But a nice surprise.

Lady Gaga will have another face joining her on the road for her upcoming Monster Ball Tour. In addition to Kid Cudi, Gaga will have “Whatcha Say” singer Jason Derulo on the bill for a select portion of the dates. Derulo spilled the beans to MTV News on Tuesday (October 20).

The tour kicks off on November 27 in Montreal, but Derulo will be supporting Gaga and Cudi starting on December 28 and will continue for the remaining dates on the tour, which wraps on January 21 in New York.

“I’m going on tour with Lady Gaga,” he told MTV News. “I haven’t spoken to her, no, but I’m on all the dates for that month.”

Gaga, like Derulo, got her start as a songwriter before finding superstardom as a solo artist. So it almost seems fitting that a budding pop star would support the singer on her concert trek.

“I am a big Gaga fan,” he said. “I was talking about being on that tour for a pretty long time and it’s amazing that it actually just fell in my lap like that. I can’t wait … I’m super excited. I’m amped!”

As for any possible onstage collaborations, Derulo admits that he doesn’t have a preference of Gaga songs he’d like to perform with the pop queen if asked. But he does have a Jason Derulo song that he thinks Gaga would be perfect for.

TMZ.com – There is an investigation under way into the mysterious death of an actor who starred in multiple Lady Gaga music videos — a 5-year-old Great Dane named Rumpus.

Rumpus, who was featured in the videos for Poker Face, Love Game and Paparazzi, was found dead earlier this month after a hike in Los Angeles. But Rumpus’ owner, Suzzanne Kelleher-Duckett, tells TMZ the champion show dog had no signs of injury and appeared to be in perfect health.

An autopsy was performed a few days ago — results are expected soon.

Rumpus was supposed to appear in Gaga’s upcoming video for “Bad Romance” — but we’re told only Rumpus’ mother Lava (pictured left) will now do the gig.
