Here are some small facts and rumors for the upcoming ‘Telephone’ music video, which is going to be shot in Los Angeles!

- Auditions for the music video was on Monday and they were looking for Chola’s and female body builders.
- Theme is women in prison
- Director is Jonas Åkerlund (Paparazzi music video)
- GaGa and Beyonce asked Tyrese Gibson to be the leading man in the video
- Doll-e Girl got a part in the music video and is scheduled for friday.
- Beyoncé probably won’t be dancing and is rumored to rescue GaGa in the music video. She’s also scheduled for 1 day of shooting.

definitely. The music would be just as catchy and she'd be as good a performer but she'd have never been given the launchpad to show off this without her quirks and kooks. Half the reason she's so huge is because the amount of publicity and word of mouth she generate, most of which doesn't come for her music. Plus, when you listen to her music as stand alone tracks, most of it doesn't sound particularly special or unique.

TMF benefits massively from it's length in that there are no fillers, in my opinion, though I imagine many would argue Monster and SHICD are there to make up numbers.

I have to disagree completely. I honestly think any track on The Fame would make a great single, it's only JD, PF, LG, &Paparazzi were of an unusually high standard, so it makes the rest look worse when in fact, I think loads of other artists making similar music would benefit from having anything like The Fame.
Summerboy, Paper Gangsta, ILIR + Brown Eyes are so underrated IMO.

The Fame Monster is A LOT better than The Fame, definitely. I again, disagree about Monster being a filler as I think it's possibly one of the most important tracks on the album [what with the album title, and the references to 'Pop Ate My Heart' and her video interludes from The Fame Ball]. Alejandro + SHICD are the only tracks I find a tad mehh, but even then, they're still fantastic.

Lady GaGa has reportedly refused to perform a duet at the Brits.

The 'Bad Romance' singer teamed up with Elton John for her performance at the Grammys, while at last year's Brit Awards she appeared alongside the Pet Shop Boys.

However, the News of the World claims that the star now feels she deserves a performance to herself.

"GaGa knows this is going to be her night and she can call the shots," a source said. "She did a duet with the Pet Shop Boys last year but feels she's come far enough to justify getting the stage to herself."

Previous reports have suggested that Beyoncé will join GaGa during her performance

She's a great pop artist, easily one of the best current pop acts by far but you can't compare her to either since she doesn't even do their genre of music and it remains to be seen if she'll be seen as relevant in 20 years time. Give her a few albums before you state such idiotic hyperbole about her. However I did enjoy her performance and definately thought she deserved the Breakthrough act award and to a lesser extent the best female one.

Lady GaGa has revealed that the she will perform previously unheard material on her UK tour.

The 'Bad Romance' singer, who kicks off the jaunt in Manchester tonight, confirmed that she has revamped the 'Monster Ball' set list for her British dates.

"The show is a musical, it's not just a pop show, there are lines and a score - there's a lot of music that you haven't heard before," she told Capital FM.

"Some of it's very old, some of it's new, there are scores specifically for the show itself.

"The show's completely different and I have some really amazing surprises, and it's unlike anything I've done before."

GaGa revealed that the tour will also feature a new instrument called Emma, which she debuted at the Brit Awards earlier this week.

"She's a hybrid from all these other instruments, which is quite funny to deal with," she said.
