Hi, i'm a leader member from brazilian most popular community on orkut about Britney Spears

We had a conversation during this noon with Burim on msn and that's what we got so far:

1 - He has 12 unreleased songs but didn't play any snnipets
2 - He said he's annoyd about the fact of Britney fan's being so rude on him
3 - He's in negotiation with some Gaga's fans, if it works, he'll say the conditions to sell Britney's songs


He seems to be a cool boy and doesn't like to be flattered or pressed, we're preparing a special about this conversation and we're gonna post it in a few minutes on orkut with some details he gave about the songs, so stay tunned!

&apparently, GaGa turned it down for TSC 'cos although she originally wrote it for her, she'd already recorded it for TFM so Britney would have been the 'guest' vocalist &I assume therefore making it look like it was featuring GaGa, when it should've been the other way around.

Basically for college I was asked to make a music video portraying the meaning of a song. I've chosen to do Everytime by Britney, but I don't really know the main meaning? I've had a look on google but couldn't reallly find anything, so if anyone (Mark mainly haha) could help, I'd be hella grateful...

i think the most significant thing about the video is the reincarnation of the baby at the end. at the time, she was beginning to face a lot of the criticism she does today. she was making mistakes (such as the break-up with justin, the start of the media intrusion, the marriage to jason in las vegas etc) and i think the unconsciousness in the bathtub and heading towards the light (when she runs down the corridor) was her way of maybe wanting to start over? of course, in the end she wakes up and laughs about it, so it never really happened. but in the original cut of the video, she actually did successfully attempt suicide in it, but it was seen as too violent to be aired on tv.

what you'll find is that the video is extremely personal to her, so you'll probably have to focus about things that lead to the imagery in the video. also it might be worth noting that some scenes in the video (like when she's on the stretcher after being taken out of the bath tub and the paparazzi take photos) are reminiscent of what actually happened later in her life.

I read an interview with her about her breakdown and she said the main reason was because of her record and movie being poorly received, as she was so un-used to flopping, and exhaustian from promoting a movie and an album constantly.

Britney funded the video herself, totally. Jive had no idea about it and had planned one for her, but she shot this herself with a un-heard of directed called Jake Sarfaty. When Jive seen the video that Britney planned to release, they were horrified and cut it to only the clips of her dancing round the pole and blonde Britney with her friends smiling.

I think Jive are ridiculous but in the particular saved Britney from a massive disaster. tbqh, Gimme More not going to #1 in the US wasn't a big deal, at all. Until Womanizer, Britney hadn't had a #1 song in the US since 10 years earlier with Baby One More Time. Gimme More peaked at #3 in the US, which was amazing and her highest charting single since Oops I Did It Again. 7 of Britney's singles have peaked in the top 10 in the U.S.

If the conservatorship is extended, then I agree with it. I know Britney may not be crazy about the whole thing, but if it's there for that long then it's there for a reason! It doesn't take much mental stability to record an album, and go on a world tour, to be honest. and about her relationship with Jason just 'apparently' being a smoke screen, you probably saw that on BreatheHeavy, which is one of the most mis-leading sites on the internet, 90% of the updates on BreatheHeavy are 100% false.

because it's for the x factor? something that borders across more than singing - it's performing and having a spark on stage, which britney has regardless of whether she sings live. if she was judging american idol, then i'd agree with you. but britney has some of the most iconic pop performances in history, so she'd be deserving of a place on the panel to judge that x factor in a performance that a popstar should have.

tbqh, britney never worked amazingly hard to get a record deal, she auditioned and signed with Jive. Yes, she's worked hard to get to where she is today. But, that list isn't about who is the best, it's fact.

I agree, most of the XF contestants have worked to get where they are now. Shayne used to tour the UK as part of a group, and then did solo gigs, as did Alexandra. Leona recorded many demos and did loads of gigs, so arguably, they've worked the same, if not harder, than Britney.

Digital News Report – Similar to the 1985 “We Are The World” song for African famine, Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie are planning a 25th anniversary of the original recording of the song, but this time for relief in Haiti.

Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie wrote the first “We are the World” and it was produced by Quincy Jones. That effort made more than $63 million for the African famine.

Jones and Richie planned to record the song on January 28th 2010, but because of the earthquake in Haiti those plans were set back. Yesterday they recorded the new version. Smokey Robinson, who took part in the first version, said no one who appeared in the first “We are the World” would appear in the second.
