(Hint..Hint…think 2003) As their shocking performance ends, lights fade up on Katy Perry who is soon joined by Rihanna in singing “Hold It Against Me”. As their song ends, Nicki Minaj comes from the back of the audience wearing a ringleader outfit and singing her “World Ends” verse. As she finishes, all eyes shift to Britney who performs her song with Sabi. (Details of this will be available later) Before Video of the Year is presented, there will be a video monage of Britney videos with excerpts of stars thanking Britney for her contributions to music including: Miley Cyrus (confirmed), Lady Gaga (confirmed), Justin Timberlake (unconfirmed), Selena Gomez (confirmed), Joe Jonas (confirmed), Will.I.Am (unconfirmed), and Christina Aguilera (unconfirmed). As the video ends, Madonna enters the stage, makes a brief statement and presents Britney the Lifetime Achievement Award.”

Lady GaGa and Britney Spears are reportedly planning to record a duet.

The pair met when GaGa attended one of the 'I Wanna Go' star's concerts in Atlantic City last week.

A source told The Sun: "They sat for around an hour gossiping and talking about collaborating together on a track. GaGa already has two songs in mind."

The duo have worked together in the past, with Spears recording Lady GaGa-penned song 'Quicksand' for the deluxe edition of her 2008 album Circus.

Spears also recorded a version of GaGa's 'Telephone' before the star released it herself, but decided not to include it as part of her album's final tracklist.

The potential duet would be the latest in a string of collaborations Lady GaGa has signed up for recently. She features on Tony Bennett's Duets II LP, which is released in September, while her Cher team-up 'The Greatest Thing' is expected in the near future.

Demi Lovato has declared Britney Spears the "ultimate pop star" ahead of this weekend's MTV Video Music Awards 2011.

MTV will pay tribute to the 'Baby One More Time' singer at tonight's event, at which Spears is nominated for two awards.

"Who isn't a Britney Spears fan?" Lovato told MTV News. "My favourite Britney Spears song is 'I Wanna Go', 'cause it's the latest song that she has and I love it.

"Cause she's the ultimate pop star," Lovato added, when asked why Spears deserved the tribute. "Nobody can touch her.

"She's been around for such a long time now and she's the epitome of pop. So when I think of pop music I think of her."

Lovato will release her third studio album Unbroken on September 20.

Yes, I think it's fanmade.

Seal It With a Kiss is one of the worst songs on FF for me. Criminal is the perfect single, sounds like nothing in the charts at the moment and is reminiscent of early Madonna. It's a fan favorite.

It was pretty lame tbh, she deserved a much better one. The rumour involving the current crop of popular artists singing some of her classic songs would have been better than what actually happened.

I hardly ever saw I Wanna Go on TV, it missed the top 100. UK public went off Britney after her meltdown and the X Factor fiasco and she's charted badly ever since. She can only rely on her core fans over here now, the masses have turned to Gaga and Katy Perry sadly. I hope that one day she will get another huge hit in the UK again, it's a crime that Till the World Ends didn't even make the top 20 over here. People moan about promo, which I must admit does make a difference a lot more in the UK than in America but personally I think even if she did do some over here, she would get slated for it and it wouldn't make much difference on the chart.

Britney is teaming up again with I Wanna Go director Chris Marrs Piliero for her latest Femme Fatale installment. Production dates 18th and 19th September.


“The Fiance is a pompous asshole. Very good looking and can easily get the ladies, but you look at him and you say to yourself, “That guy’s a douchebag.” Must be fit for fighting scene. Britney is at an upper-class event with her Fiance. We see her expensive engagement ring on her finger. He’s flirting with other girls and treating Britney poorly. Britney is clearly not happy with him or her surroundings… She constantly checks her Swarovski watch hoping the night will end soon. She does something to embarrass her Fiance. He grabs her roughly by the wrist and pulls her outside. As they exit the building they quickly pass by the body of someone who is sitting on the ground leaning against the wall for a cigarette break. The Fiance throws Britney against the wall and slaps Britney. He then squeezes her face tight and yells at her. He then slaps her hard across the face. He goes for another swing and Jason catches his wrist. He then quickly plows into the Fiance with his fist. The Fiance doesn’t know what hit him. He’s on the ground with a bloody banged up face looking around. Britney is in shock.“


They’re casting many roles for the video, including:

- “Hot girls” for the fiance to dance with
- Chubby grocery store clerk (They ride the motorcycle to the grocery store. While Jason is grabbing groceries Britney goes to the front counter and pulls out a gun and robs the clerk).
- Male cop
- Chief of Police (A little bit older but still very badass… a George Clooney type…

Suddenly… we see boots quickly shuffling around outside. Police cars are parked as more arrive. They surround the apartment. The Chief gets on his megaphone and starts shouting into it. Britney and Jason are out of the shower and look through the blinds to discover the police everywhere with their guns drawn. They throw on some clothes and attempt to escape out the back, but the police are there waiting as well)

Britney goes over and kicks the Fiance. She walks back over to Jason.

The officers begin firing into the building as Britney and Jason begin to passionately kiss. Glass shatters… walls explode with holes and dust clouds… debris flies everywhere. Lots of slow-motion shots… Destruction inside and outside of the building.

She chatted about being a mammy in this bizarre industry and gave some words of advice to the pregnant Beyonce as well as joking about Gaga’s male alter ego ‘Jo Calderone’ trying to kiss her at the VMA’s – she didn’t know it was going to happen! Her smile is direct from a beauty queen pagent, a smile that she probably is forced to use even if it’s not how she is feeling. She was the utmost professional and a very warm person and 100pc dedicated to her fans. The 13 year old inside was not let down by this talented if at times troubled popstar. Yes it's good that she's doing promo, but they are pre recorded interviews, not the same as a live appearance. I don't think we'll see her making a live appearance on a UK show anytime soon. X Factor live shows, I think she might do because she's in Britain at the time they're on but she won't do a show like This Morning or Daybreak live, has to be pre-recorded.

I thought i would come on here and give TiBB what i know about her Criminal music video. Britney has been filming around my part of London this weekend and i think all the filming is done now. Before i tell the story the possible info on the video is in bold, i'm just explaining the story because people don't like to believe crap they read over the internet!
On Sunday me and some mates got word of her being in Dalston, East London. At like 4pm. We went down there and the buzz was very low, we caught eye of 2 cars heading down the backstreets with tinted windows, so we followed. When we got there Britney was nowhere to be seen but there was a couple of police men and stuff hovering around a dance/arts/art studio with one of the tinted cars being parked outside. We waited around for like an hour but again, no Britney. The car drove off and we waited for it to come back but it didn't so we went home.
Our next step was trying to get in the dance studio but we were denied entry and then we left. My friend used google on her phone and discovered that Britney already filmed that day in another part of Dalston like 10 minutes away. We felt pissed off because she was so close but yet so far!
but then
Today we got the shock of our lives. On my way to college this morning i saw a small parked trailer guarded by police parked behind Stoke Newington town hall by the park, i thought nothing of it at the time. At lunch we went to the park and the trailer truck was there and was heavily guarded by police and security, we saw what looked like the same car that was parked outside the studio on sunday! Lunch was over but i did not go back to lesson because this was a once in a lifetime if it turned out to be her. We spoke to what turned out to be paps and they told us it was Britney, one arsehole tried to tell me it was Carol ****ing Vorderman!! They said they had been there all morning from like 9am,They told us some 'details', they got the call she was there at like 8am. We were told Her and her boyfriend 'broke into' the town hall, which was acting as a bank and Britney storms in with a balaclava, demands to see the person in charge. We waited around for AGES to try and catch a glimpse of her. All the waiting payed off as she came out waved before getting in the car. Later on after she left and we were looking for stuff she touched and stuff :P one of her PA's who hadn't left yet came up to me and my friends and said 'she wanted to come over, say hello and sign some stuff but there were too many paps! Sorry guys.' she gave us Britney's water bottle. We got a video and a loads of photos tho!!

Siobhan Healy, a Britney Spears fan from Willsborough, died after the Femme Fatale Tour in Dublin, Ireland on Monday, according to new reports.

Britney Spears' critically acclaimed 2007 album Blackout has not only topped a million in sales but it is now the pop star's only album to be added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's music library and archives. The Hall developed the archive to be the "most comprehensive repository of materials relating to the history of rock and roll … in order to broaden awareness and understanding of rock and roll, its roots, and its impact on our society."

The Celebrity Café reported earlier today (June 13) that the album was added to the archive this month, so we reached out to the Hall of Fame to get the details on the acquisition.

"We purchased that CD a few months ago as part of a project involving the acquisition of the most critically acclaimed albums of the past couple of decades," Andy Leach, director of Library and Archives at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, tells MTV News via email.

Leach cited the album's appearance on Rolling Stone's list of the top 50 albums of 2007 as the reason it ended up on the Rock Hall's list of album's to acquire and archive.

Esteem for the album, which was released during a particularly turbulent time in Spears' life that culminated a few months after Blackout's release with the singer being physically removed from her home by police, placed in an ambulance and escorted to the UCLA Medical Center, has grown in the years since its release.

In a 2010 blog post talking about Spears' demo of Lady Gaga's "Telephone" (the song was originally written for Spears and was recorded by Gaga only after she decided against using it), Rolling Stone paid the album a very big compliment, writing, "People love to make fun of Britney, and why not, but if 'Telephone' proves anything, it's that Blackout may be the most influential pop album of the past five years."

It seems the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame seems to agree.

It's not all work and no play for Britney Spears!

The X Factor judge took a break from her work on the reality show to soak up the sun with all her boys in Maui on Sunday.

Brit, fiancé Jason Trawick and sons Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline looked happy to spend some time relaxing in Hawaii.

While the Pacific islands make for a nice reprieve from Hollywood, it's an East Coast getaway where Britney really feels relaxed…

The 30-year-old's future in-laws recently put their Long Island home on the market, and Spears was not happy about it.

"NOOOOO. I love this house!" she tweeted last month, along with a link to a Newsday story about the sale of the five-bedroom home.

A source told E! News Britney "loves the house so much. It's a peaceful haven for her, a place where she can get away and relax."

Hope she can still get some R&R in Maui!
