It’s been a while since I updated you on Britney Spears seventh album so here you go! The Queen B is working with K. Briscoe of The Outsyderz again, who produced her #1 comeback single “Womanizer”. Briscoe also recently worked on Timbalands Shock Value II album on “Lose Control” with JoJo and “The One I Love” with Keri Hilson, which further hints that Britney’s new album will have more urban influences. Also contributing to the new album is songwriter Corte Ellis of the Soul Diggaz, who co-wrote “Get Naked” from Blackout and has previously worked with Fantasia and Monica. And finally dance DJ David Guetta confirmed that he’s already finished the song with Britney that he was scheduled to work on. Right now the new album is due in June and other producers attached include Danja, Max Martin, Darkchild, Sean Garrett and many more, but who actually manages to make the final cut will be a different story. It sounds to me that she’ll be doing pop that has urban crossover potential. What do you think?

just watched the DVD that comes with 'Circus' and Britney says she cant wait to perform 'Out From under and My baby to an audience' NOW i just realised this god knows how lol, but Jive must of maybe said to her to just keep the tour upbeat with 1 Ballad and that was 'Everytime' so did Jive decide to leave out these 2 songs?

Britney Spears will not release a new album this summer, according to her representative.

The 'Womanizer' singer was previously reported to be working towards a May release for her seventh studio album.

"There has been zero discussion about it," a representative from her label Jive Records told Just Jared.

According to the report, Britney has started recording sessions for the follow-up to 2008's Circus but no release date has been confirmed.

The 28-year-old is said to be working with producers including Darkchild, David Guetta, Cisco Adler and Sean Garrett.

KIIS-FM previously hinted that a track with Guetta would be sent to radio in March.

Britney released second greatest hits album The Singles Collection in November

William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, where Trawick plies his trade, confirmed Tuesday that the 38-year-old agent is still representing Spears. A rep for the blond-again Circus star has not yet responded to a request for comment.

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time the business-and-pleasure-mixing duo have required some time apart.

Spears and Trawick cooled off over the holidays in December, but rekindled the flame in time to attend the Grammys together on Jan. 31, where Spears was nominated for Best Dance Recording for "Womanizer."

They were last seen in public together on Valentine's Day at a McDonald's drive-thru in L.A.

"They both just needed to take a break from each other," the source says. "It wasn't working out."

Just as it wasn't the other time they split up within the last three months, but, as our insider says, reconciliation remains on the table.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have denounced breakup rumours, according to Us Weekly.

The popstar and Trawick began dating in spring 2009, during Spears's stint in a psychiatric facility. Earlier this week, various entertainment new sources reported that the couple had split.

"They are on and off," a friend of Spears said.

The pair were seen leaving the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles last weekend and reportedly spent time together at Spears's mansion.

A representative had no comment on the status of singer's relationship.

Britney's upcoming material for her new album is "more energetic," according to a source via x17online.com.

"Right after this year's Grammy Awards, Britney met with all of the producers for her next album to explain the vibe she's looking to capture," said the source. "Brit, who is co-writing many of the songs, explained that she's looking to give the new album a vibe like the song Get Naked from Blackout."

The source continues to say Britney is "not only a hard worker, but an incredible mother," and has recruited many of the same producers from her "Blackout" CD, including Bloodshy & Avant ("Piece of Me"), Danja ("Gimme More") and Corte Ellis.

This new album "will be like Blackout times 100!"

The album is rumored for a summer release, but the project may be pushed back. But the source says we'll hear new Britney music on the radio very soon!

Calls to Jive Records were not immediately returned.
