Britney Spears has been recording in the studio with DJ Tiesto, according to reports.

Rumours emerged that the Dutch DJ was working with Spears after her management tweeted that the pair had arranged a meeting.

Dutch newspaper ADNL has now confirmed that the duo are in talks to work together, quoting Tiesto's management as saying: "[The pair] have spent a lot of time together to find a sound."

DJ Tiesto remixed Spears's 'Piece Of Me' single from her Blackout LP. He has previously worked with Nelly Furtado, Bloc Party and Calvin Harris.

It is rumoured that Spears's new album will be released later this year.

Gossip Queen Perez Hilton held a live, braincell destroying uStream chat with his readers today to chat about celebrity news and answer personal questions. During the little discussion, the spotlight was turned onto Britney Spears when a fan asked Perez if he knew anything about her upcoming album.

Piggy Perez immediately got excited and claimed to have heard “a few songs” from the new album, before exclaiming: “let me tell you, that s**t is hot!”

He then insisted that there was one song in particular that stood out and was “one of the best songs” she had ever recorded.

“Yes, the song is better than anything on Circus, and I love a lot of those Circus tracks,” he continued. “It’s as good as Toxic!”

After getting the Britney stans excited, Perez decided to rain on their parade by implying that the new album won’t hit stores until 2011.

“So I cannot WAIT for Britney to release her album, which will hopefully be next year. Early next year, hopefully.”

It’s still unclear whether Perez was just speculating about a release date or if he had been specifically told that the album wouldn’t be due until next year. If that’s true, then Britney could very well go up against Lady GaGa, who also recently announced that her next album wouldn’t come out until 2011.

Hopefully Piggy Perez was simply mistaken and we’ll get that new record in the fourth quarter, just as her last seven albums/compilations have been.

A new track from Britney Spears upcoming album has been leaked months before its planned release, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

The pop sensation plans to release Pleasure You - a three minute tune in which Spears stays true to form and sings about being submissive, a servant and doing whatever it takes to please her man.

The track was played to RadarOnline.com by a source connected to the singer.

The leak has infuriated record bosses at Spears’ label JIVE, who were stunned when informed of the unauthorized release by RadarOnline.com.

"We are totally unaware of the song being leaked," a JIVE rep told RadarOnline.com.

"We don't know how her song or any other artists song could have been released. We're looking into the issue."

One verse of the track is particularly colorful where the pop star sings:

The song beat is soft and slow, curiously, like that of an R&B song — a monumental shift for the pop starlet.

Britney Spears' new album is slated for a Mar. 15 release, according to a leaked one-sheet created by her label Jive Records that outlines the marketing campaign for the set. Jive confirmed to MTV News that the date listed on the sheet is accurate.

Also confirmed are various producers and songwriters who worked on the album, which still does not have a title. I've noticed that too, a lot of her hardcore fans are going off her because of the lack of promo, but Britney hasn't done proper promo in years, I can't believe people honestly expected this era to be any different but I do think it is a shame and it would be nice if she did. Yeah one sit down interview with someone like Barbra Walters who I know does one off shows where she sits down with a celebrity and asks them about their life, America's answer to Piers Morgan's Life Stories but I don't think she would do it. Forgot (Drop Dead) Beautiful, that's also amazing. The chorus is so slick and epic, the "boy you know..." bit reminds me slightly of Prince.

I was one of the first journalists in the world to have an exclusive listen of new album Femme Fatale and clubbing fans will be pleased to know there are some anthemic corkers on there.

The singer has switched typically chart-friendly tunes like Toxic and Womanizer for a more edgy vibe.

(Drop Dead) Beautiful is the stand-out track, an infectious toe-tapper that screams single material.

The heavy bassline, reminscent of DAVID GUETTA beats, was penned for blaring out the Ibiza clubs this summer.

The words are also overtly sexual, with the 29-year-old singing: "I would pay whatever just to get a better view/ Your body looks so sick, I think I got the flu."

Big Fat Bass is a dirty, sweaty track featuring BLACK EYED PEAS star WILL.I.AM.

Oddly the production on the opening lyrics makes Brit sound like his X Factor protégé CHER LLOYD.

It is the first track since 1999's debut hit Baby One More Time that isn't instantly recognisable as Britney.

Cheeky song Inside Out is a slow tempo number, with a dubstep intro that wouldn't go amiss off a TINIE TEMPAH record.

The sensual break-up song is jam-packed with suggestive lyrics about hopping into bed one more time before ending a relationship.

Britters sings: "Won't you give me something to remember/ Baby, shut your mouth and turn me inside out.

"Even though we can't last forever, you know what I want right now."



Back on form ... Britney Spears
Criminal sprinkles in some naiveté from the early years, reminiscent of her ballad Sometimes.

With the heavy presence of the flute, the folky track sounds like something straight out of The Wicker Man.

Prancing around the maypole springs to mind.

While the song sounds innocent when she addresses her mother, the lyrics are a lot darker.

She sings: "Mama, I'm in love with a criminal/ And this kind of love isn't rational/ It's physical."

Gasoline is the most poppy song, which would fit on any of her records.

Loyal Brit fans might have a tough time adjusting to her new sound.

But top marks for trying something new.

I agree about it flowing well, it does a much better job of that than Circus. I wouldn't mind having that a single but I can see her management wanting I Wanna Go or (Drop Dead) Beautiful for the third single just because they sound more radio friendly.
