If anyone is planning games, then please post in here. It looks like we'll have a few games going on over the next few months and to avoid clashing with each other and BB we'll need to organise a schedule properly.


If you don't, you may find your game either gets shut down or postponed until a further date. (This is not because I want to take charge of all games, but having 4/5 games at the same time is annoying and hard to follow)

Same concept in terms of sabotage as the mole but the fact that the murderer changes for every task and it's not purely decided on facts and quizzes makes it different. It's a lot more social I think... you've got to make friends with the right people at the right times.

I've come up with some great ideas (hopefully they're executed well) for ICB3 but this really won't be done any time soon. I'd like to keep it to one a year but I think the gap between ICB and ICB2 was about 10 months so maybe I could do this at Christmas or something - of course Uni will factor into the equation but if I can get all of the writing done up in advance then I'd like to go ahead with it.

I know it sounds rude but I'd really not like anyone else taking over. It feels like my baby, and it seems too many games these days are just dragged up by any old member :( IN COLD BLOOD 4 - HOSTED BY PATRICK~]

But yeah. I'm coming up with ideas for murders, twists and I think I might change the format of the game. I was toying with the idea of writing up character bios that players apply for but I don't like the idea of the game becoming too scripted and boring for everyone. That said I really don't want the murderer to really stick out like a sore thumb like PJ did with his knighthood and red hair in series 1... LOL. But I'll see. I need to immerse myself in crime films/tv/books.

I have a fun and competitive game in mind to run alongside the main BB series starting in a couple of weeks if no-one has any objections. Survivor will be finished by then, and I don't think there is anything else coming up immediately???? I will need 12 contestants and 3 Judges please, more details when I have written it up for posting, probably tomorrow. Let's just say it requires wit and humour ;) for now.

OK so I've come up with a premise that changes the entire format of In Cold Blood but is still pretty recognisable to the first two series. I'm not revealing much right now but I've taken quite a bit of inspiration from Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" and the very reason this forum is here...

I'm also in the process of designing characters (well, creating them, but not actually designing them :tongue:). When I open applications you'll be applying for roles rather than creating your own - and the (original) Killer will be pre-set. I have two twists, four murders and one task sorted out so far - I imagine I'll be resurrecting some old standard tasks (song challenges, unscrambling, etc :laugh:) too though.

I can't run the next pub quiz because I'm starting at Uni in just over a fortnight, but I would instruct the person who runs it:

- Make sure all of your images are stills from YouTube videos. It takes a lot of effort but it's about the only thing that can't be found by Googling
- Upload them all yourself. Obviously off-site URLs can be found easily :tongue:
- Try to make all of the answers a variety of difficulties. Some easy, some obscure, some very difficult.
- Give each round 2 days minimum (the rest should be however long you take to score and prepare the posts).

We already have a game thats based on BBUS so theres no point in another one really.

Also, there may be a few games that will have to be postponed because members are announcing them without arranging it with admin/mods first and now theres far too many planned for round about the same times.

For ICB3 I've so far come up with:
- 10/15 characters
- 4/10 murders
- 4 twists (enough I think)
- 2/10 tasks
- The blueprints to a background story

The characters and tasks should be easy to finish (since I've done 2 new tasks; I can revive some old favourites to fill up spaces), and I need to do a little research to find some more creative murders (although I don't want them to be farfetched :laugh:).

Yeah the title isn't going to be IAC. I've got working titles in mind and i'm working with people on this. It won't be IAC. The Format will be the same but new things and different things will be added. We're trying to make this work.

As long as it doesn't take the title of "Worst Game" in the Razzies, I'm very interested in doing a second Survivor game in the summer.

This time, it's going to be much more organised, the immunity challenges are going to be simple but fun and most differently, the contestants will be creating the story:

Each contestant is allowed to create a "persona" to play as if they so wish. As they go through the game contestants would give me confessionals about how they feel about their tribe, making the strategic decisions, how they felt the task went etc.

Once I collect the final Jury votes I will write up the "episodes" of the game for everyone to see using the personas as the cast and using your confessionals to tell the story of how the final three got to where they are. Through this, you will be able to see peoples strategies, why people voted the way they did, how they felt about the decisions they made and hell, I'll try to make it funny too.

I think this could be a really innovative (although slightly nerdy) way of playing a TiBB game that could be really fun and interesting.

Other improvements I'd like to make:

- I'd like to open up a spot for a co-host to help with general tasks, helping me with my horrible English skills and smooth running Tribal Councils for when I'm not here.

- The Tribal Immunity challenges will not be quickfire ones but day length ones instead to try make things fairer and much more simple for those competing. Individual immunity however may indeed be quickfire.

- I'm thinking of asking for Two "Tribe Beach" threads where the tribes can talk in private. I'd need permission from Administration for this and let's be honest, Survivor has hardly had the impact on the forum like Elimination or The Mole has had, but I'll ask anyway. :)

I think during the summer more people will be free also, so I'm sure finding a co-host will be easy. You should ask Marc, he may be interested. :)


And I don't see why admin would have a problem with Survivor having its own section. Elimination has had its day now and after 'The Mole 5' I won't be running it anymore due to travelling so the games on TiBB will be at their minimum. :)

Here is how The Biggest Loser will work, 18 TiBB members will send me PMs, 3 of them saying stuff on how they would like to be a trainer and what team they would train. And the other 15 would PM me with their age, weight in stone, and what team they would like to be on. Once at the end of every week except final week, they would weigh in already knowing that the team with the lowest percentage of weight loss is up for one of the team members to be eliminated. I already have a logo and I would like someone to turn it into an award for who is The Biggest Loser. I'll PM you the logo.

How does the weigh in and weight loss work though? That's the bit I'm confused by.

Here is how the weigh in works, I will post a picture showing the Scale with that contestants starting weight for that week, then I will post another picture with the current weight, how much weight they have lost, their Body Mass Index (BMI), and how many BMIs and points their BMI went down. This is what I mean.

The weight loss will be the same as on the UK version of the show.

Yes. They will gain the points while they are doing their workouts with their trainer. Temptations on the other hand will be the thing that when someone eats say 37 doughnuts, they they get a 5 pound disadvantage and they'll gain 5 pounds.

Ok, I have decided to do a TiBB version of the NBC show Who's Still Standing. Basically, what will happen is there will be 21 contestants. 20 as the contestants that have street smarts, etc; they are called strangers. The 21st contestant is the hero who will pick 1 stranger out of the 20 that wanting to be picked to go head to head in a series of questions in 20 seconds. If the hero runs out of time on a particular question, they will be out of the game and the stranger that wins 10,000 points will become the new hero. If the stranger loses, they will be out and the hero will get anywhere from 1,000 points-25,000 points depending on how long the round between the hero and the stranger is. Who's Still Standing: TiBB Edition will run for 2 1/2 weeks from Valentine's Day to March 1st due to how many members will be playing. I will need someone to make an award for this before the Wednesday before this starts. This is a description of the award. A person will be standing on a circular trapdoor. I will need applications by next week. The auditions will need:

If you have Street Smarts, School Smarts, etc.
Stranger or Hero (Pick One)

A bit like what happens next on Question of Sport. It'll be very lighthearted, not something that takes alot of dedication, maybe kind of pub quizzy but not with so many people/the pub quiz rooms
