We have our final list of 16 contestants for Tibb does The Apprentice now. How long before the game starts would the team allocation be needed so James can set up the private rooms for team tasks?

Also, the judging panel (5 of us) would need to be able to view (and post if possible? but posting not essential) both team rooms for the purpose of who gets fired after a task.

Instead of Exile, do you think any one on here would be interested in doing a TiBB's The X Factor? :laugh: It would be run in the same way, contestants have a week to send me two songs (audio only), one fitting the theme of the week and one for the sing off. I'd host, and on the Saturday would upload the videos and then the judges panel (made of three) tibb members would comment. The TiBB Public would vote and then the next day a bottom 2/3 would be announced and they'd sing and the judges would save one of them.

That's it really - I'm completely unsure if anyone would be interested in that but I've got nothing to lose by posting it so I have :laugh:

yes, I know that :) That's not what I was asking, I need to know how soon I need to supply the names so that this can be set up in time. The game will start first week in November. We have the contestants finalised (touch wood) so I can supply them now if necessary; who do I send them to so that it gets done? thanks. I was told i was quite a good host, so i think i would be fine doing another try at it, and since im more well known now hopefully.. i'd get more applications

As a replacement for Surviving Hogwarts i have decided to return to the drawing board and come up with a new game. It will be called Being Human. The format is simple, survive and you win. A group of contestants will fight in two teams and will fight to survive. But not everyone plays nicely...

Elimination Process
Eliminations will be entirely up to the contestants. The loosing team will be banned from voting. However the other team must vote for who they want out. They can vote for their own team or the other team. The person or more with the most votes to Eliminate will be kicked out of the game.

Tasks
Tasks are given out in order to win special powers such as Immunity, the Super Elimination and of course the classic Team Immunity. Each Task will also give out extra special rewards to players who shine through.

Length
The Game will last around two weeks.

Please let me know ASAP because it's possible i'd like to Launch this around March?

The basis of the game is that we have 12 contestants and they will be put in at the start in two teams then they they do puzzle and games to win and not to be up for elimination. they team that wins will be save but the losers will have to vote each other within they group to see who up

Settings of the Game
I will put them into to groups and then they have to work together and when they are put up then i will put it to an pubic vote ie the froum to see who they would like to kick out then put up an poll to see who the public (froum members) how would like to see gone form the game

Tasks
when they task start they work together as an team and would have to do puzzle and games to win the puzzle would be easy at first but as they get on on the game the harder the task would be so that would make it hard for the team to win and make it fun for the forum members (public)


How Players are eliminated
the people how the loser team as chosen to put up are put up for the public vote ie the forum vote where the other mebers vote to see who they would like to be eliminated then the person they pick well me get out of the game and the winners of the vote will be save

when we get to the final 6 we put the groups together then they would have to work together and then they will vote to get someone out then goes to the public vote this will be done again till there is only 3 left then they will do one more task the loser would be gone out of the game without an public vote and they final two would be up for the public vote where they vote for they winner

i hope for this game to last for 3 weeks and if you don't mind and if there room i would like to make and play this in April

I'm not annoyed at you, but it would be nice to see if the other hosts were okay for their games being pushed back slightly, February may have been the only free time they had to run theirs.

The reason I asked all hosts to check this thread was to double check that all games are still going ahead when planned. Because I could see February already had four games on the go. Having five will be a nightmare.

I'm trying to see if some can be pushed back to a later date. I understand the CBB issue, I'm not saying you cannot host it in Feb but we need to try and ease that month up a bit.

The game will last for FOUR weeks and will need an award, sub-forum and closed sub-forum exclusive to myself and the contestants.


The idea of the game is to bring 5 members of the forum to a town called ‘Sunrise Island’. Upon arrival of the town, the members instantly become “Investigators” who are there on a mission to investigate a fictional murder. In the HQ, there is a suspect list, detailing 6 other forum members; one of them is the murderer!


Once a week, the members will be issued with a task to win a BLACK envelope. Inside the black envelope will be a hint as to who the murderer is. The investigators will then need to discuss on a closed sub-forum who they think the clue could be hinting at.



They will then note this in their report.


Every Friday, the investigators will be required to put together a short report detailing their findings throughout that week. Also informing the reader of the report who did what throughout the week. Every Friday evening, a poll will be posted asking the public who should be eliminated from the game and this will happen for three weeks, which will leave TWO investigators in week four.


In week four, the two remaining inspectors will privately discuss who they think the murderer is and will decide which three suspects they believe is the murderer. Then a public poll will open asking the public who they think should win the game.



If the investigators guess the murder with their selected three suspects, then they will successfully win the award, however if they don’t guess the correct suspect in their chosen three, the award will NOT be awarded.

I have noticed that too many new games are following similar formats of already existing games on here. Any game that we consider too similar will NOT be given the go ahead. We need new formats to games, not just slightly tweeked versions of already existing ones.

Also no other games will be scheduled in until after April now as we have quite a lot on the go and some games already planned will have to be pushed back. In the meantime, as Josy said, requests are still closed.


Any games that are scheduled already need to reconfirm that they are still starting when scheduled. If you cannot prepare your game in time for when you said then you may find you game is pushed to the back of the queue. It is not fair on those that have a game scheduled, have taken the time to organise it and then they find through somebody else's disorganisation they have to be delayed too.

If you cannot prepare your game in time for when you said then you may find you game is pushed to the back of the queue. It is not fair on those that have a game scheduled, have taken the time to organise it and then they find through somebody else's disorganisation they have to be delayed too.

I'm not sure what makes me different from these "many others", when I already had it planned months ago for it to take place, even before the other games that have been put ahead of it had been planned. As you said you may not be able to run the game in summer, maybe the other hosts that have games planned for a time they requested can't either, Mollie. Not fair to force them to push their game back because another game didn't run on time. If they are happy to be pushed back that is fine. I've had to push my next game back by a couple of months too, so we are all in the same boat.

March would be better if that is okay with you? That game is different from the others as it isn't as taxing or as demanding as 'reality based' games.

I understand it wasn't your fault, and I agree it must have been very frustrating. I'll try what I can to get your game on as soon as we can, but this is the reason no more than two games should be on at the same time, sometimes it is hard enough to find applicants, having three games trying to gain applicants would make it harder for those hosts.

Personally think its being too controlled now.

With such strict scheduling it introduces problems of games flopping (not enough applicants, host vanishes, interest in the game lost and gets cancelled etc.) and other games not being able to try-out because they havnt been fully prepared for 'in time'. Not to mention that its very easy to say 'oh yeah Ill do it in 4 months time' and then when it comes around the potential host may not feel up for it or no longer is a regular. Leaving nothing going on.

Not really considering that some games require just applicant participation as well (Photography Contest is always very specific to just its participants... which is normally never in double figures). And that of course members can play in more than 1 game.

I dont care really seeings I no longer get involved with TiBB games, used to love them, but I think this is just silly. In the past hosts have worked together and waited for each other by themselves. If theres problems then go all mod on their asses.

Phantom of Oz
A vast blend of Broadway/West-End Musical storylines


In this game, I have blended popular Broadway and West-End musical storylines (e.g. WICKEDs love & betrayal) and even little details (e.g. in Matilda, she plays little pranks).

‘Phantom of Oz’ will look for three different ‘main cast’ who will be the main stars of the game, and each lead will have a small team which they will lead throughout the game, every three days there will be an ‘Recast’ where one person from each team will be fired from the show.
The ‘Ensemble’ members will be the ‘Leads’ team member and will follow the leads orders at all times. It will be their responsibility to work as the ‘extras’ for the tasks and be a back-up for if the leads need help (which they will for the majority of the tasks).

Though the leads are more than likely to win, there is always a possibility that the Ensemble members could steal the ‘Winner’ title in the ‘Finale’ which will be the task which determines the winner.

1 ensemble member from each team will be in the Finale and will be able to steal the Win from their team captain!

All tasks are based on the storylines from this years chosen musicals, Wicked and The Phantom of the Opera.

There will be a few twists along the way.

Coach Trip

All aboard the coach trip! Join me and 12 contestents as we travel the globe (was going to do partners but I don't think it'd have a big response). Once reaching an area and having a snoop around (which will include certain tasks to win points towards immunity from the coach send-off) will be a quick fire quiz (this way, there is no cheating) of ten or so questions. The person or people with the most points at the end will win immunity (the person who posts the correct answer first wins 5 points, 4 for the next, 3 for the third, 2 for the fourth and 1 for the fifth). The two contestants with the lowest points will face the send-off, with all members having to discuss and tell me the contestent which they are deciding to send home.
