This is the bit I'm currently struggling with. When it gets to around Top 5-ish, how will I make it work? Cos The Decider will be immune since they won the challenge, and then all 3 non-immune players will automatically have to go up. Maybe all 3 compete for the 'save' part of the task but not the 'replace' part, and then The Decider eliminates one of the remaining 2 on the block.

And yes, I was thinking of just using a simple jury format but I'm not sure whether all players would be in the jury or if you have to reach a certain point to make it there. I guess it depends on the amount of people that sign up. But the jury effectively becomes the final 'Decider' so I think I want to include that in it.

I'm gonna consult you a lot during the brainstorming-phase of this if that's ok with you? I definitely need contribution from others since it'll be hard enough to figure everything out on my own :laugh:

I doubt it will bomb Hayden, it's a great concept, original too. I love what I've seen so far. You might find it hard getting applicants, I did for the Apprentice, only half my lineup applied themselves, the other half were personally invited to play by me but they all said they enjoyed it. Aww thanks Kate :) I'm hoping some of you who are giving me advice on what to improve/change will apply since you'll all be fairly familiar with the format by then.

I'll probably open apps a couple weeks before the start date (when I decide when that is :laugh:) so everyone will have enough time to decide whether they want to apply and also so I can ask people to apply if I am not getting enough applicants :laugh:

No offense to Tom but I think you should get priority. You asked about booking Gamble in first, and it's unfair for Tom to keep doing these 'surprise' versions of Versus when pre-planning is essential to these type of games.

Like I said, I'm not having a go at you Tom, I'm just saying that the reason people book games in for certain months is because they've been pre-planning for ages and don't want other people to just casually waltz in and take their game slot.

That's just my views on it anyway.

I have to agree. June seems very soon to be holding the next one. It would only be 6/7 weeks between games. Most games have a gap of 6 months between them. I know you are eager to host another game but it's better to wait and get the game better prepared than to rush it and cut corners, plus a similar game will be on at the same time (TiBB BB).

In The Genius Game, 10 players start and much successfully pass 8 rounds to win. In each round, there is a Main Match and a Death Match. Everyone competes in the Main Match, with the winner receiving two immunity tokens and the loser being the "Elimination Candidate". The Elimination Candidate then chooses one other player without immunity to play against in the Death Match. The Death Match is a one-on-one competition, with the loser being eliminated from the competition.

The matches are games of strategy and logic, where players must work together and against each other in order to be victorious. The game uses a currency known as "Garnets" which can be won during the Main Match, these may be used to buy various aids during the game. When someone is eliminated in the death match, the player who eliminated them receives all of their garnets. The overall winner is the person who holds all of the garnets at the end of the game.

An example Main Match would be the Kong Dilemma, played with 6 people:

The six players are split into 2 teams of three, and each player is given a set number of pebbles of their team's colour. Each player then secretly puts as many of their pebbles as they want into a vase, and at the end of the match, the team with the most coloured pebbles in that vase wins. However, the winner of that game is the member of the winning team who put the least pebbles into the vase. Therefore, players will have to convince the rest of their team to put a lot of pebbles in to win, but not themselves put many pebbles in.

I've been saying that I'm going to do versus in June, Look at the last page of the versus thread. I did get approval first and I'll pull out if it clashes with Kate's but it will be a short series at the end of June. It's not a suprise season.

Game Format
At the start of each round there will be an immunity challenge. The winner of this challenge will become The Decider and will be immune from that round of nominations. The remaining players will then nominate 2 other players by private messaging me the 2 names of the players they want to see nominated (The Decider will not take part in the nominations process). However, nominating the players you least get on with may not be the best strategy if you want to succeed in this game, because the 2 or more players with the highest amount of nominations will compete in a Save & Replace task and this will give one of the nominees the chance to remove themselves from the block and replace themselves with one of the players currently safe. The nominee who wins the Save & Replace task can save another nominee instead of saving their self if they wish to do so. After this has been done, The Decider will choose which of the nominees to eliminate from the game by sending me a private message stating clearly the name of the person they decide to eliminate. At the Final 4 stage, the players will still have the Immunity Challenge at the beginning of the round to determine who becomes ‘The Decider’, however the 3 players that do not win the challenge will automatically be nominated and will participate in a ‘Save’ task. The winner of that task will be able to remove themselves from the block (or one of the other nominees if they choose to stay nominated) and The Decider will choose who to eliminate out of the two remaining nominees. The final 3 stage will simply be an immunity challenge to determine who becomes The Decider and then the winner of that challenge has to immediately decide which of the other 2 players to eliminate. The final 2 will then face the jury. The Jury will consist of eliminated players and they will ultimately become the final ‘Decider’ on who wins the game.

The Decider cannot be the same person in back-to-back rounds. However, they can still compete in Immunity challenges and, if they win, they get to decide who The Decider will be for that round (they can’t pick themselves since they were the previous Decider), although by doing this they are also giving their immunity to the person that they choose, so they are still eligible to be nominated that round and will take part in the nominations process.

After the Immunity challenge, players will have around 16-18 hours to send me their 2 nominations and then the Save & Replace task will be immediately after the nominees are revealed.

Extra Notes
-Strikes will be given out for inactivity during the game. Failing to participate in the game or constant inactivity will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the game. This is mainly in relation to the following:
1) Failing to send me the names of the 2 players you wish to nominate (All players)
2) Failing to participate in the Save & Replace task (Nominees only)
3) Failing to send me the name of the nominee you decide to eliminate (The Decider only)

-Players can be as tactical as they want and are free to discuss nominations and gameplay with each other.

-Nominees MUST NOT receive help from ANYONE during the Save & Replace task. However, players in the game are able to help each other with Immunity challenges if they wish to do so.

-NO HELP FROM USERS OUTSIDE OF THE GAME. This is YOUR game, not theirs.

It's not rushed, the reason I'm doing it so soon is because versus was about 11 days, that's just less than half of the duration of an average game which is about 4 weeks.

See my favourite game to host has always been The Mole.

I love elimination for the tactics/alliances etc, but The Mole is completely non-vote based so makes the game far more unpredictable, plus the tension of waiting for the video with your name waiting to see if it goes green and praying that somebody else's goes red. :laugh:

Hmm... don't think there would as it would clash with Elimination and Let's Twist, although depending on how long you plan to run it, it might be ok.

I was gonna do mine in August but witched to October, since people wants breaks inbetween playing games and you might not get enough applicants if it's too soon after another long game.

TiBB Big Brother will start in the first week of July and is going to run for around 25/26 days this time. I'm just deciding on the start date and the schedule but as soon as I've decided and cleared the proper start date with admin, I'll let everyone know.

This is just a small update on the dates I've got planned for Big Brother. Applications for the series will begin on Friday May 23rd and will be open for around three weeks. Then, the series will officially begin on Thursday 3rd July.

Also, let me just tell you that if you think you know the game... Think again.

Let's twist description

Let's twist-Strictly game

Let's twist is a strictly come dancing based game. There will be 8-12 contestants. The contestants will be matched with a pro dancer e.g. Anton,Flavia and many more well know dancers. The contestants will be given a different type of dance each week e.g one week Salsa and then the next week Tango. Once you have been given your dance you must choose a song for your dance and an outfit for the dance. You will be given a few days to decide on a song and outfit. After you summit your routine, it will be sent to the 4 judges. The judges will be marking the routines anonymously. So everyone has a fair chance. The game will last either ten days or a month. I have ten shows planned. So it will either be a show a night for 10 days or two shows a week for a month :)
