I heard this on a radio show earlier and it's a tough one, what would you do?

So you work with couple who met in the job, are married and have a kid together. You get on well with them both. It's the work Christmas party and they can't get a baby sitter so the husband goes to the party and the wife stays home with the kid. At the Christmas party you see the husband in the corner kissing some girl. What do you do? Tell the wife? Say something to the husband? or pretend you saw nothing? Or something else?

*for arguments sake, we'll say you know them pretty well and are very friendly with them both (but not best buddies like your out of work friends)

I would mind my own business, people behaving out of character at Christmas parties is not unheard of, he might be full of remorse afterwards and she might not take kindly to any intervention, plus if I don't know them well, they might have an open relationship, I still have to work with them even after they have possibly made up so it might cause friction at work that I could do without so I'm keeping well out of it

The thing I hated most about high school was hearing the disgusting and disrespectful lad behaviour, such as calling girls “birds” and commenting on their appearance just to come across as the big cheese

What I meant was stuff like “Ugh, that Charlotte tried to speak to me, I was like **** off you’re not even fit, she actually makes me feel sick just looking at her, at least make an effort to look good”

Then if someone tries to speak up on Charlotte’s behalf, they would receive some homophobic abuse which I won’t repeat, even if they weren’t part of the LGBT community, or something like “Just because you fancy her”
