I guess probably both can be mean to others, but at School, mine was all boys anyway so I saw a lot of very mean lads there.

Both in different ways. Girls can be bitches, Boys will up front bully someone. It depends what hurts you more backstabbing, or being made fun of.

Girls.. by far! I can think of loads of girls from school who were bullies/bitches/fighters/up their own arses, but I can't really think of any boys who acted like that.

Both as bad as each other in different ways.

Males tend to be upfront and say what they think and don't give a damn really.

Females tend to be back stabbing - you know, pretened to be nice, all sweetness and light to your face, but rip you to shreds behind your back. You can normally see through the ones that are like that though.

Oh I don't know....there are plenty of men who are experts at that. Ask any woman who's had a control freak in her life - ie: the female can't have a life or have enjoyment without that male control being there - that's when you experience real manipulation, mind**** and nastiness.

I agree with both in different ways.

Dont agree that boys are 'straight up in your face', maybe back in the day but many just make snide remarks getting a small crowd having a giggle. Theyre more harsh than girls, but girls start it for stupid reasons and keep it up for longer and can be very 2-faced without you knowing.

Backstabbing hurts more. This is why I was more hurt by people I thought were my "friends" at school. At least I knew where I stood when I was picked on/bullied by someone I couldn't give a toss about.

My group of friends at the time were mostly girls. So I am guessing girls are meaner.

completely agree with both of your comments. Very few of us don't have a bitch now and then, that's human nature - it's a rare person who never ever does:- but backstabbing as you say is one of the most nasty, vile, behaviours ever and woman I think do indeed excel in this. I agree with your thoughts: it's usually down to jealousy or their own insecurities. A lot of woman I know think they are 'leaders' when in fact, they are just 'followers' - because they are so insecure.

As I said earlier though: there are men out there that are as bullying but on a different level: but equally as nasty for the recepient.

Oh yeah it's generalizing on my part obviously. Plenty of men are like it too. Especially those sorts you mentioned.

Guys can give a harder time to people than girls. We're more straight forward, loud but when we're in a group, we belong to the group, we have each other's back.

But girls are backstabbing sneaky bitches. They're treating each other like crap 24/7 and turn on people the same way Britney having another mental breakdown. However, they have a nicer deep than boys because at the end of the day, they care about your ass.

Therefore I'll say girls are meaner. Not being sexist or anything but DAYUUUUM, have you seen girls fighting and whipping each other's hair? For real, girls today are probably more dangerous than boys.

Yeah. I mean I talk about people behind their back. Not friends though.. I usually have a laugh with someone about managers at work.. which ones we like.. which ones we are unsure of. With friends I don't bitch about them. Or at the very most.. if I had a problem with a friend then I would ask someone for advice then go back to that friend.

Suppose in school we were all confused. Going through puberty. All insecure in some way or other. No excuse for people's extreme horrible behaviour though.

To be fair, I think generalising 'on your part' is what we're all doing to an extent. Many types of bullying exist in various forms. It all very much depends on the type of bully. - regardless of whether male or female.

I often hear about 'cheating men' and 'men are b's'. for every man that falls into that category: there is equally a woman is exactly the same. Certainly from what I've seen in my years anyway. It's all relative.

In this respect. I could not agree more. Both mentailly - and physically. I've seen women behave in a way that women very rarely ever behaved in years gone by - as though they are overdosed on testosterone. (sp). I'm not entirely convinced we (the human race) are evolving for the better.

first part in bold: this is what female 'true' friends do. they will broach the subject and clear the air. The 'supposed' friends don't....they will agree with you to your face, then rip you to shreds with others (males and females) within their social groups. Gang mentality I suppose coming into play and trying to be top dog, seeming to be popular (back to insecurity etc).

second part in bold. You again are right......with maturity comes experience -and any lesson learned personally through experience tends often to be the best lesson in which you learn from.

EG: how many times do you hear people say, "i'm never turning into my mother / father"..... whizz to 20 years on, and they find they are doing exactly that!!! lol

A lot of the same principle applies. Also very much depends on the emotional maturity (and self confidence) of the 'younger' individual.

Boys can be nasty but they often just say stupid things to be cool, and don't neccessarily mean it.

Girls can be very bitchy for no reason whatsoever and usually mean it in a malicious way, so I'll go with girls from what I've seen.
