I'm a bit tearful right now. A close friend, our lovely Hijaxers has lost her other half, Grimmy. I don't have many details but Jax will elaborate for us in her own time. She's really numb right now. Has authorised this thread to let you all know.

RIP to Grimmy.

I don't know what it feels like to lose your partner, but hopefully Hijaxers is getting all of the support that she needs from her friends & family, and of course anyone that she's close to on here.

….awwwww, Jax…I’m so, so very sorry……I think a long while ago that I recall you saying that his health wasn’t good…here we all were, posting about BB/a reality show …and you were going through this…there is truly nothing that I can say/no words that will have any meaning to you right now…I recall Grim in the short times that he was here and even in those few times, his fun and lightheartedness…and his brightness and warmth shone through…?…and I know that you would have always been such a big part of the reason that he shone so brightly…and I know he’ll always be right there with you, in your heart…I’m really so, so sorry, Jax….and for your daughter as well……

Thank you all so much for your care and support, and to Kate for starting this thread.

I am still in shock and can't believe he has gone. Andy was only 59, and we spent 32 years together. He had been unwell for some time, but we had no idea how bad things really were. He suddenly became very weak and we called him an ambulance last Saturday. Over the week he went downhill very quickly, his liver and kidneys failed and he got pneumonia. He went on dialysis in ICU, but it was too late, and he passed away peacefully on Friday night.

My Daughter and my friends are supporting me closely, and I am so grateful to also have the support of you all on tibb.
