I know some people generally hate celebs before they enter for what they said or done in the past but is it possible to love someone as a housemate but hate them as a person?

I think this applies to almost everyone in BB6.

I enjoyed Makosi, Derek, Craig and Saskia as housemates, but they weren't nice people.

With examples like Craig, Derek, Kim etc I genuinely do just like them part of what makes me support a HM is if I find them funny even if they are abrasive. So if I don't like someone it means I don't enjoy them as a housemate... Even if they hog airtime.

I didn't watch Bears series but I loved Perez aswell, I think I loved him so much though because I disliked Katie Hopkins so much and he was her nemesis

Depends how extreme they are. People who celebrate the likes of Helen and Conor like to cite how much they contributed but they're just too loathsome to be enjoyed in any way whatsoever.
