LOL... Oh right. I remember being 19... going out on Thursday night, coming home at 4am, getting up at 7am to go to work on Friday and then out again most of Friday night... Them were the days. If I tried it now I'd look like I'd been held hostage for a several years.

So, yes I have been drunk and legless on the job
in that way.

Taking into account that alcohol stays in your system much longer than I realised then I have also gone to work after about an hours sleep and very much full of plonk

Working in the city, we would go out and have 4-6 pints, 2 or 3 lunchtimes a week .... that was a while ago though

A few times we just never bothered going back to work as it would have spoiled the vibe

Yup. Our manager used to actually sell is the drugs to take at work, so that we had enough energy to do the 16 hour shifts he would stick us on. I can only imagine what it was like for customers woming in to be served and seeing all the staff off their tits gurning away
