Following on from the other thread. The two first and second London’s might as well go head-to-head.

...I could say London just because I’ve never visited Manchester...and I do love London...but that wouldn't be fair, so I won’t vote...although I love London, it’s not my favourite city in the country...I love Newcastle much more...
 ......hopefully, one day I’ll visit Manchester....I have a few friends from there...on the forum and in real life, one of my closest friends is a Manchester gal...and if the place is as beautiful as the people I know...well...  ..

only been to Manchester twice but I liked it a lot more than London... London, I think, is too broad to even consider as a singular entity. It's like asking if you prefer New York or all of Canada.

Liverpool is a much, much better city compared to Manchester if we’re talking about the north!
