I stayed in Thailand for 4 months and the food was exceptional as was their Whisky bucket you get - as i recall it was a bucket of crushed ice and a half bottle of local paint stripper whisky. Chase it with a bottle or 2 of Singha

I love Indian food too but Thai is lighter and more veg based

indian food tends to be heavy and rich. Thai suits my palette more on a regular basis

…there is room for both, I don’t eat either of them that often though…they’re both more of an ‘event meal’ choice…

Thai restaurants vary in quality quite a bit. When bog-standard drunken noodles is the face they wear, that’s how you know that they haven’t got much variety.
