What’s your favourite kind of restaurant between these-two?

I find Thai food to be a little more nuanced than Indian personally, in a pleasurable way, so it’ll have to be that for me. I’d rather eat out at a Thai restaurant than an Indian, even if Indian would naturally be the default takeaway-choice. People don’t really order Thai on a home-delivery basis. You’ve kinda gotta go out to eat it. That’s the implicit idea anyway, for better or worse.

It goes in one end as food and comes out the other end as waste
You will be making love to a pot noodle next with that nuanced crap |

I like both.
But I have childhood memories with Indian food, plus they have Rogan Josh. ![]()

Have you ever actually ordered a Thai, out of interest?

I've had a Green Curry from the Chinese.
I've never had it from an authentic Thai place.

Yeah. That’s what I was pointing to in my OP. People don’t really order in Thai, not from a Thai restaurant specifically anyway (a bit of green or red Thai curry from your local Chinese, yeah), really, is it? It just doesn’t happen to be the done thing. It’s a more curated, intentional experience that you’ve got to go out to dine with specifically, at a specific kind of restaurant. It’s less mainstream than Indian.

We're finally getting Korean and Mexican food more mainstream where I live, which is great to see. ![]()

I’ve never really eaten much of Korean, to be fair. So I don’t know how that is.

I've never tried it Red. Is it quite spicy? I'm not sure I'd like it, but maybe I'll give it a go if you say its decent.

Erm, in terms of spiciness, Thai food is generally a lot less-so than Indian, as far as I can tell. It’s quite mild in that regard, for what I know. I probably don’t know enough to say that for-sure, but that’s my guess. That’s the impression I get.

Ah yes, sounds OK to me. I've not really tried Indian either, I guess I'm not especially adventurous with food. I should try more things. I've been reading about a Thai dish called Pad Thai, that sounds fairly mild.

Yh, no, I’ve never had a Pad-Thai that’s been that spicy, to be fair.

And I would say that if you like spicy foods then you'll be a big fan of Korean food. Kimchi being the mildest in terms of spice levels.
