Boil until just cooked, drain well. Pop in a large fry pan or wok, add butter and scorch it, add mint sauce a minute or so before it’s cooked.
Delicious. We have done this with sprouts for years then decided we would give cabbage a go.
Savoy cabbage is best.

…oh, I’m going to try this, smudgie…I like fried cabbage but I hadn’t thought of par boiling it first and it’s lovely when it’s a bit burnt also…smudgie’s top tip……
