To his great credit, he hides it very well.. He was brought up in a different generation and some prejudices are rooted in early childhood. He made a conscious effort never to pass on his prejudices to his kids, and no-one would know it unless they were around him for years. My brother is gay, and he doesn't know. His boyfriends are treated like any other member of the family. I only know because I'm a daddy's girl, like Jim's daughter, and I love nothing better than to hole myself up with him for hours, listening to every word he says. I think he's wonderful.
