I think Lotan, and Joe for that matter, in particular were well within their rights to have it out with Arthur because he was being a blatant dick. They both tried to reconcile with him though when they didn't have to and also tried to convince him to make up with the rest of the house.
The part I didn't like was when they were messing with his stuff. That's not acceptable for me. Doesn't that class as bullying? Or at least ganging up on someone.
