I'd say you need to change the way
people think, the outdated attitudes about male abuse are held by both men and women. I agree that what you say definitely applies to some, but I don't think the whole "self made prison of masculinity" applies in all cases. Some of them won't be speaking out for the very same reason some female victims don't, fear of their abuser and others won't because of the ideas other people (both male and female) put out there about how ridiculous the idea of male domestic abuse is.
