I don't know if you mean me, Liam, I have definitely said how things have changed for gay people, that they used to be jailed and suffer terrible injustices and now they can marry and have equal rights under the law.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone on here say gay people should just accept the beatings because things are improving. This was a despicable crime.
