As unsettling as the animal was: it's such a shame that it was killed as the reasons for such a mutation can now never be identified. Perhaps in a way, it was a blessing - it would have lead a life of testing, poking, prodding etc - and in that respect, as much as Id be interested to know the reasons why this happened - I'm not altogether comfortable with what would have been endured on the animal to esablish such reasons.

Yes it did die, it was dead when it's born, that's talking about a seperate incident.
