Yeah, loved Sirius. And I'm glad he did end up being good really. Don't like The Order Of The Pheonix that much but it was good to find out more about Sirius and his beginnings. And yeah, Oldman got him spot on.Tthe baddies always have bit more interest for me too as well

The Order of the Pheonix got a bit longwinded in the middle for me and I didn't like the film very much at all, missed too many important bits out of the book. That's the problem I guess with them making the films mainly for kids, they have to cut them down to a reasonable length for them to sit through lol. That's why I'm SO glad they've split the last book into two films, plus it means we've got another 6 months after November before it's all over for good

I've read all the Twilight books! Much prefer them to the films.

Yep, think she intended for the audience to grow with the books, as to why there was some major gaps inbetween some, so when reading, they could appriciate the darker turn they had taken. I'm sort of sensing this with the films, at least they weren't PG, I don't think, the last few. Hopefully this last two part one will live up to the book.

Just finished reading this; Dark Moon by David Gemmell, it was so-so, I wouldn't recomend it. Some good ideas and characters but it felt rushed.

At the moment I'm reading Zero Hour by SD Perry, I've been trying to get more into horror stories over the last year. Anyway this is set in the Resident Evil world, and it's good so far.

And I'm reading this at bedtime, Runemarks by Joanne Harris. I love the first line; Seven o'clock on a Monday morning, five hundred years after the end of the world, and goblins had been at the cellar again. . .

I'm reading "Meridon" by Phillipa Gregory which is the final book in the "Wideacre" trilogy.. Not my usual type of book, I prefer crime/thriller or historical fiction, but have quite enjoyed them. SHe wrote "The Other Boleyn Girl" which I loved but these aren't quite as good

Just finished reading Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace - bit hard going and dark but very funny and quite an insight into addictions of all kinds.

still War and Peace LOL
I got sidetracked with this little book that came with Q - a selection of rock anecdotes from Keith Moon, Kings of Leon, Ritchie Blackmore, etc.
