Eat fresh (ONLY fresh), cut out sugar, cut out bulk wheat totally (this means primarily wheat-based products, you don't have to fret over a bit of flour in a sauce etc.), heavily reduce other grains / rice / potatoes, increase veg (especially green veg), fruit, and nuts. Plenty of lean meat protein / fish + moderate other meats (basically don't worry about meat, it's hard to overeat unprocessed meat, you'll get full and stop).
Cut your portion sizes. Most people have twice as much on their plate as they should. Half an hour of cardio / HIIT every day, lift heavy stuff for a bit 3 times a week.
You'll be hollywood buff in no time

Maybe so but it worked for me so I don't give a ****

I stopped going when i reached my target about 5 weeks ago anyway
I suppose for me, it was a bit of structure and having to go get weighed kept me focused, also for the first 4 weeks writing down everything you ate helped alot
