I think he CAN be a bit inclined to take the dad role "take charge" when no one is really required to do so (e.g. getting them all round the table) but I don't think there's anything deliberately behind it, didn't even realise he was doing it, and I actually think he's taken the criticism on board and given it some thought which is to his credit
