That didn't occur to me until now, but it sounds more likely. He's devious enough to do that.

Do you remember when Akeem asked Cameron if he'd like to go on the date with him before Cian and Zoe won it? and Tomasz's response was "Urgh" implying that he was repulsed by Akeem - and on top of that there's obviously the various incidents of him bitching and trying to get Akeem out. Ugh...what a nasty spiteful snake he is.
