They were equally trying to wind each other up. Akeem raised his voice first. Akeem was MORE physically confrontational than Lewis (sitting up, coming forwards towards him, gesturing etc.) and also was first to do so. They were both being equally loud and aggressive by the end of it, and they were both making points that were more or less true.
Also this idea that Lewis was "brandishing a wine glass" in a threatening way is flat out ridiculous - he was playing with it WELL BEFORE the argument started! I have to ask - do people know that they're deliberately exaggerating when they say these things? Or does negative bias towards someone actually twist perceptions so that it seems like the truth?
IMO the two people who came out of this looking the worst were actually Cian and Cameron. There was literally NO need for Cian to jump into the mix... it did feel like he was just unable to see a drama going down and then not be involved... and he got disproportionately angry about it when he was told that, stomping around and screeching. Just... why? It wasn't his argument.
But then, Cameron, in pointing that out, I feel was being a massive hypocrite because it wasn't his argument either. He has sort of involved himself as Lewis's "backup" in a totally unecessary way... Cian and Cameron should both have stayed out of the argument.
Isabella I dunno. During the argument itself Lewis wasn't in the wrong with her, all he did was ask her not to get involved, and not aggressively. He was a bit harsh with her afterwards. But she was also saying some odd things about "not raising voices etc. when there's a girl there"... which I don't really get at all? Why would that make a difference?
