Used to think they accidentally killed her but to be honest when I really think about it I can't see how they'd act normal at dinner, dispose of her body in an unknown country and the fact they keep bringing her up every year when any parent that killed their child would try and keep low after it happened. Plus the other attempted abductions in the area leading up to when Maddie was taken makes me think it was a case of serious parental neglect and they shouldve been done for that, 100%
