I think it would be very odd to have photos of an ex up, maybe as part of a pic with the kids or something but I wouldn't be happy about it personally, not that Mr C has has any photos of his ex's and would rather gnaw his right hand off than have a FB account

Well yeah there's that too. Both of us deleted our Facebook accounts earlier this year. Awful things .

That said I couldn't tell you whether or not there were pictures of her with her ex still on hers? She was in a long term relationship before we got together and Facebook was around back then for a bit. I can't say it would have bothered me? I mean we got together when we were 19 (her) and 21 (me) so it would be sort of weird to be insecure about a relationship she had in her teens .

oh yeah I agree, but it they were previously in a serious relationship with the ex or with them for years or something, I think its a bit odd, like you wouldn't have a framed photo of your ex at home so why would you have it on your FB

It is sad, I'm not sure I could live my life that way but I know it's also hard to get out of relationships sometimes, even bad habits are hard to break
