actually I think in Lidl and Aldi the staff dont ask about bags they just chuck the stuff at speed into the packing area and you return the favour by firing on all cylinders into a trolley and slink off and pack it else where

Oh I pack my stuff there and then whilst getting glares as they're already pelting the next customer's shopping through the till.

Yeah I only normally buy a few items from there at a time, but I can't imagine the STRESS if you do a big shop there on your own

i purposely take my time packing my bags just to annoy the person at the till and the people queuing behind, it's very satisfying and a lot less stressful
