I think some vegans are a bit much, I am a pescatarian and eat no dairy either and nobody says a word to me, I don't really say much about it though or look down on anyone who eats meat.

However I have encountered some vegans who are really preachy and try and shame others, I used to work with a guy and he would share videos of slaughter houses and say anyone who ate a burger was complicit in animals deaths for consumption. I think shaming people is wrong, I wont lie though, my choice to return to not eating meat was to do with conditions the animals suffer but it's not my business how others feel. My family all eat meat and my boyfriend does too.

I simple wouldn't like to eat an animal who was most likely treated incredibly cruelly before being killed for me to eat when I get no real enjoyment from it.
