I don't know Kaz but spending 4 hours in a confined.space with a child when you have symptoms is probably the easiest way to infect him. It just all stinks to me Kaz......I think I may travel the 4 hours to surrey to visit my brother tomorrow....could do with the help with my lad and they have a nice big house down there. Not breaking lockdown because I'm worried about finding the right kind of childcare even though I have help close to home. If everyone had done it there would have been just as many cars on the road and lockdown would have broken down a long time before the fractures we are now seeing.

What could he possibly have over Boris to make him such a spineless boot licker?

From what I believe...his wife had symptoms and worried that he might get it and therefore neither would be able to look after their son, they drove down to his mothers. Now that sounds reasonable. Apparently her sister lives round the corner from them in London...but then maybe she didn’t want to be exposed or maybe they don’t get on ...who knows.
However...if the stories are true he was also spotted 40 miles from his mothers at a Castle....this was late March/early April so that was against the rules.

I think I have that right...

also for some information if anyone will question me if i myself follow the rules

yes i have been doing that, even though my nan (my mom's mum) lives next door to us, i don't visit or go over at cooking hours, i do however since we have quite a large garden stick to the 1.5 metres distance (even 2 metres distance) rule either

so yes i also have made few sacrifices

Arista, you've been a measured contributor during this crisis, so why have you suddenly gone all tribally crazy again? You know this crap can cost more lives, which you were criticising the government for doing originally? Now you're cheerleading more deaths in the UK, as that was embarrassing from the PM.

I'd be far from surprised if this becomes the inciting incident that sparks a full-on, White House-esque war against the free press from Downing Street (the seeds of which have already been sewn with their feud with the Sunday Times), since Johnson's now painted himself into a corner and has nowhere to dig but down

What fun times lay ahead!

That doesn’t sound reasonable at all, the rules were to stay where you were, you weren’t allowed to relocate at all if you had symptoms, but even then, that’s not what happened.

His wife was ill, they drove up to Durham to apparently have childcare, what actually happened was they drove up to Durham, they took care of their child themselves anyway and his sister dropped shopping off for them, all of that could and should have been done in their home in London, seeing as his brother-in-law lives in London and his assistants live about 3 minutes away, whichever way they spin it, there was no actual need to do what they did

yes, majority of the people here in Netherlands stick to those ''not visiting elderly relatives'' rule

however now visits in care homes will be allowed again, which is better for elderly who got dementia etc

I disagree....if both of them fell ill who would look after their child...maybe mother was the only option and brothers/sisters weren’t. It’s all speculation as we DONT know the details. Maybe he had no option.
HOWEVER ....if he was spotted at the castle etc then that doesn’t look good.

How did thousands of other parents manage in the very same position, without all the added resources Dominic would have had at his disposal? He’s a government aid, he would have already had much more allowed to him to help them deal with it than a normal family would have, there’s no excuse, he’s used his wealth and his position to not have to do what every other person in the country had to do, it’s a sham

If Brexit is done, then why does someone endangering the lives of the public have to stay in place?
