You're being quite gross here with your downplaying. This wasn't some trading of insults, Crystal isn't suing because that flop called her a dickhead. She's suing because he accused her and another prominent LGBT voice of being peadophiles based on nothing but their sexuality. That's not an insult, that's an accusation and a both a grave and false one at that.
The system isn't going to collapse because a flop actor will be made to face the consequences of his actions.
