The only part I was "downplaying" was the gallows, which is clearly too flimsy to support the weight of a human. It was literally a prop.
As for the other riots (I'm not calling them BLM, they lose the right to be called
anything but thugs), they were worse in terms of
victims. Vast swathes of cities burning, versus a few bloody politicians getting their feathers ruffled?
