Oh I'm thinking more about the general public than the media.

The media has always been split on born women, so the people that are anti-women are probably having an orgasm at the thought of being able to verbally attack biological women and have another community back them up.

The general public however definitely has more of an issue with Trans people, some can't even handle them appearing on TV Shows fgs, like it's gonna be the end of the world or something.
