Fresh plastic notes do stick together, they get static on them. Fold the bundle in half then alternate front to back before you put them in your wallet and they won't stick

. Pro tip.

Have to say I never carry cash any more - even things like ice cream vans in the middle of nowhere (to my actual surprise) take contactless these days.
