A debris field has been discovered within the search area by an ROV near the Titanic, the US Coast Guard has just announced.
Experts within the unified command are evaluating the information. Last edited by bitontheslide; 22-06-2023 at 03:56 PM. |

i think debris at the depth will be unusual, particularly if it can be identified as carbon fibre Last edited by bitontheslide; 22-06-2023 at 03:59 PM. |

I suppose if it is debris it sounds like they could have died pretty instantly which would have been a blessing

Yeah, if they weren't going to be rescued anyway, dying quickly would be much more preferable

Actually whales in general are either plankton or shrimp eaters and have very small throats - blue whale's throat is smaller than a human fist. So whales literally cannot swallow you.
There have I believe been incidents with scuba divers being accidently "scooped up" by whales (usually humpback) then being spat back out unharmed along with any other fish etc. that are too big to swallow. You're marginally more likely to be eaten (in chunks) by a Killer Whale but Killer Whales are actually not whales, they're dolphins. [edit] More exciting added info: When divers are hurt by whales it's pretty much never an attack, they're very gentle. Usually it's being accidentally hit by their tail. Which is obviously ****ing huge and can break bones. Last edited by Soldier Boy; 22-06-2023 at 04:30 PM. |

I dont understand why there would be debris scattered as though it exploded under the weight.
I also don’t understand why they talk about the pressure being so high, how it the tittantic not crushed if the pressures are as high as they say.
