I understood the meaning and I think it is an astute observation. As much as Henry has mentioned it and the stigma surrounding it, he may think it is what is being aired. They have no way of knowing whether it is or isn't a nothingburger on the outside.

Allowing the public's feelings on Tories to make him overlook Henry, who is a gem, would be tragic.
