Thing is Labour were talking a couple of weeks ago about how they were going to have to release loads of prisoners early because there was no prison space, so not quite sure how they're going to manage all these people newly convicted on pretty severe sentences

No they are not

That's blatant nonsense.
Utter rubbish.

Where's your proof we are doing that????

The last government was going to do just what Labour plans.
I didn't see you moaning at them.
However they were a right wing government weren't they.

Where's the comparison of people out of prison because of theft crimes compared to these violent destructive rioters.
You'd rather them left on the streets would you ???

Who are Carlos Neto and Lawson Natty? What did they do. And what story are they in the news for this week?

Let's hope that they're letting out petty criminals.

They haven't let anyone out yet.
It's nonsense.

It will be decided who is released early by the Justice secretary, bthe Justice department and the parole organisation.

There's at least a third of people in prison who've never done anything violent whatsoever.
They shouldn't be in prison at all iny view.

That alone would open up loads of spaces.

However, there is also as the last lot which were in government were looking at too.
Where I understand those who would be due for parole likely sometime next year and getting them out this year instead in September/ October time

It will NOT however just be the government's Minister making the decision it will be made involving all across and involved in the Justice system.

This is just more scaremongering in the main.

There are names been deemed for release which are rather disturbing.
There will be strict rules applied to them and supervision we are told.
However Labour members are not happy and will be pressing for a re-think.
IF those names are in effect released then I'll criticise.
Because behind the scenes there's a lot of protesting about it.

It's unfortunate the original sentence wasn't longer in those cases.
However it's not desirable or acceptable.

I do agree with what you're saying in general.

It's just if Labour does have to end up releasing Prisoners, that it isn't violent criminals.

I missed off part of my post.

There are a few which due to the original smaller sentencing do come under the 40% benchmark of time served.
However there's still battling going on about that.
So it hasn't happened YET at all.
Plus the families of the victims are rightly furious.

Your party leaders are acting like tyrants. They're turning this country into a state like North Korea.

They're sending threats out to the general public, that they'll put people in prison for sharing a social media post.

Shame on you for supportng this against your own people.

We won't forget

Oh stop talking nonsense for goodness sake.
North Korea indeed
What delusion.

The Cons were going to do exactly the same thing.
They'd have had to.
Since they've battered the prison system and places into the ground over 14 YEARS.
Which you know perfectly well.

I couldn't give a shiny sh!te about the cons. They're exactly the same as Labour. All globalists that serve themselves, and their Globalist, elite master and not we the people.

The only Leader in the World right now who is standing up for We the people, is Donald Trump. And that's why he's been the biggest threat to the deep state from the minute he came down the escalator in 2015. That's why they tried to imprison him, that's why they tried to assassinate him.

He's not gonna put anyone in prison for having opinion on something.

That's like when govt refuses to build new power plants "because pollution", so they tell everyone they have to drive EVs soon to save the planet. Only to find out, there's not enough power to support the amount of new EVs being driven.... because govt.
