I'm having to settle for AJ in that regard.

None of the actual female Housemates do anything for me in that area.

I'm gathering that Thomas and Nathan are popular with the viewers in that area though.

Alright just catching up on the launch night episode so I hope to have a better opinion once I'm finished. First thoughts...

+ So far good job on casting the housemates. I'm liking more than last years.
+ Glad the launch night is live.
+ The opening titles are pretty great. Nice not having the housemates featured in them.

- The main show only needs one host. These two do my head in together.
- Let's go back to letting them leave the car and walking in without a pre-interview like the Davina days.
- Let's drop the theme tune being played over every housemate entering. Let's drop the 3D house graphics in the intros.
- Who let disney characters vomit all over the house?
- 16 housemates for a 6 week run is insane.
- The BB voice is just awful and so is him speaking in first person.

As expected most of the housemates are in their blinking 20's, they've missed a real trick @ not adding some variety by adding oldies in . Why is BB so ageist . Oldest person is only 50 something.

I actually like the twist ,Red team were getting cocky ..
thinking they were strength in numbers,most of them are such sheep ... immediately going to Red . Now they can stay in the non housemate section mwahah.

I know it can all change,and I know they'll be tasks etc where they'll be swapping around, and I guess nobody is safe re: first eviction . But @ the moment I'm glad Blue team are classed as ' housemates '.

Initial thoughts based on VTs only

Rosie - shouty mess

Emma - lovely teeth, seems nice

Segan -Good Christian lad

Nathan - Seems ok, politics will upset all the right people

Daze - Nope

Khaled - not feeling him at all, early boot

Martha - seems nice in an I'm bubbly, delf-depreciating and overweight type vibe

Lily - Just a young lassie but seems sweet/thick

Ali - sigh, no not feeling her

Thomas - Nice young lad (put in for his disability, not that there is anything wrong with that) and will be hard to nominate initially

Ryan - getting booed before he gets out the car tells me all I need to know about the vile stereotypical twats in the launch crowd- should be a good housemate

Hannah - bin

Izaaz - could be annoying pretty rapidly

Sarah - Nice farming girl, should be good value or annoying or both

Marcello - seems like an insufferable prick

Dean - bleugh

I really enjoyed the launch and I'm looking forward to getting to know the housemates. There are quite a few that I'm liking already. With Thomas and Ali early favorites.

I've just caught up on the launch and think it was actually very good!

The cast seems nice and diverse with a lot of potential for drama from the different views and personalities. Theres a couple of ones who seem a bit bland on first impressions but most of them look like good characters

AJ and Will did well too and were noticeably more comfortable in the roles

That's what I hate , when I watched it on catch-up .I can only fast forward on the TV ...but I was in bed when I was watching itvx...it was like early hours of the morning,by the time I watched the launch lol.

To be honest that was a staged part of the set so there was no need

ie to make it look like they are "important people" arriving at some exclusive club
