My Grandfather on my Mum's side was actually Irish but passed before I was born and I've never been very connected with the Irish side of the family, maybe time to change that

Only to Sligo once but I was very young and barely remember it. Would like to go more though - where would you recommend? Cork is quite nice I've heard some say but perhaps that's just a rumour
