I roll with “20”. “Two-thousand and” just sounds annoyingly clunky to me. Low-key irritant, even, but everyone’s different.

That’s the best way, IMO. “Two-thousand and” just sounds so wrong.

Probably a bit of both.
Two thousand and - usually and you’re right it does sound weird and clunky! “Twenty twenty five” to me sounds extremely American. |
