The police are useless in my experience to be honest.

1) My mothers boyfriend hit her, she rang the police, it took them over an hour to get there. Even though the police station was a 3 minute walk away. The excuse was that they went to the wrong street.

2) Not too long ago I was getting death threats from an ex. Gave a statement etc. only to be told that basically, they could do nothing until something had actually happened to me.

3) Some girl went for me on a night out, I kicked the **** out of her and I get locked up instead of her, even though it was self defence, just because she was in a worse state than me by the time they got there.

Yeah...brilliant eh?
