Move everything to Sunday nights
Admit they were wrong and scrap the live auditions Bring back Xtra Factor 24/7 under the name 'The X Factor: 24/7' with the preview Xtra Factor show they used to do on a Friday night (both on a Saturday on ITV1 and ITV2 respectively) Axe Cheryl in favour of Denise Van Outen and Dermot in favour of Kate Thornton  Have a performance at the start of the first show kicking off the theme (like they used to) with the second guest in the half hour results show Have a dinosaur guest every week (ie someone like Lionel Richie or Tina Turner) and a current chart act Allow people through who bring something different to the table so its more varied like series 5
