About physically raising the ship- its a bit of a tricky situation. Its a crime etc to do it and there are agreements in place and legislation between UK, US, Canada and France but its an integral part of British history, and it is predicted to collapse into the sea bed within 50 years. The back half of the ship has already collapsed. But if they do raise it, it will obviously have to be bit by bit ...

They really shouldn't have scrapped Olympic, they could have made that into a floating museum and refitted it.
