We've all have grown accustomed to Arista's typically incendiary posts, but that doesn't change my opinion of what went on in this story. His outrageous tactics don't alter my own feelings on any given subject, just like yours don't.

Did the lady say specifically it was her religion or just her convictions? "She later admitted she had turned the couple away because it was her policy not to let same sex couples share a room."

if it is her policy how is that any different to have a policy to stop say school kids going into a newsagent 5 at a time, or a policy that says that members of the public cant use your staff canteen and so on?

The pair said they "were treated like lepers" - really, is that what being turned away from a b&b has become?

"We said it was illegal to discriminate against people who stay in hotels because that's all we knew at the time and she said it was her private home and it was against her convictions."

It is her private home and a business but surely she has the final decision who stays, end of? - what if Peter Docherty and Ami Winehouse arrived - is she not allowed to say no to them as well?

Stop bringing religion into it LT. It has literally nothing to do with that, as much as Arista would like to think otherwise. The fact is she discriminated against them based on their sexuality. Private home bollocks - it's a B and B and as such has to adhere to the laws of the land. And trust you to compare them to the most outrageous double act you could get your hands on.

When did I bring religion into it apart fro rightly criticise Arista for his Christophobia ?
