I actually think that mods should be faceless, for example, on the Everton forum where my Gaz is a mod, he has his 'normal' account which he signed up with, which he uses to chat on, and his 'Moderator' account which is nameless and faceless and noone on there knows who the mods are (apart from the admin obviously). It cuts out a lot of accusations of bias etc, and means the mods can chat on their own accounts like any other member,while using the mod account to do their job. It works really well, but I doubt it would even be considered on here.
