Yes he was upset coz he loves but he is not in love with her he does not fancy, josie is/was like a sister to him and I remember last week he said he'd never looked at her that way but now he is saying I've always fancied you, it doesn't add up, he is playing a clever game and it seems to be working but he hasn't got me fooled

I'm sure his goal isn't to fool you anyway so that's ok! Peoples feelings can change though, it's happened to me before, you like some one as a person but the thought of romance doesn't enter your head until the other person expresses feelings and then you do start thinking about it.

You can love someone and not be in love, but that doesn't mean you can't fall in love with them over a period of time.

When we date, we experience different emotions, it is possible not to see the signs when they are.

Did you actually hear him say that he has always fancied her or are we just going on what Josie has said ...and we all now how good she is at telling porky pies ??

Anyway nothing wrong in having a gameplan IMO as long as it doesn't involve hurting or using other people.

How is that bad? Leading Josie on is nothing to do with a gameplan. If he was going to feign a romance why wouldn't he do it with someone who will obviously sell magazines, someone like Rachael. Josie isn't quite 'Nuts' material whereas Rachael is, to be playing the game in that way you'd have a showmance with the prettiest girl!
I reckon its quite genuine and common for him to be fancied by girls, but he said himself that he 'changes his mobile a lot because girls he's met at clubs keep ringing him'. He isn't aware that he's leading these girls on, and usually runs away from one girl and goes to the next. In a house like this he can't run away. Josie is the girl that keeps 'ringing' him after a great night of cuddling and chatting. He can't 'change his mobile' in there. That's why he tried to escape yesterday.
Interestingly he said "I can't do it to her." THAT was probably the gameplan side coming out. Suddenly he seems caring and naive! "Poor John! He doesnt want to hurt her!! Aww!" is the desired effect, it's working a treat!
What he really wants to do is run.
I find that side of him a horrible trait, to lead girls on is nothing to do with a big brother gameplan - its something he's always done.
I hope he STAYS on friday just so he has to deal with himself for another week.
