We're not discussing Sophie, we're discussing Josie.

I'm not saying you can't be pretty, skinny and nice. I'm saying you can't tell how someone's character would change if their appearance was different. When people slim down from large to small, their confidence changes, their character changes; the same when they go from skinny to bigger... everything changes because the way people view you and the way people treat you changes. Josie wouldn't have to be the class clown for attention anymore.

Your saying you cant tell how she would be as a size 10 yet you stated that she wouldnt be the same person in another post.

Contradicting yourself much?

Obviously no one can tell what someone will be like because nothing in life is black or white. We both know that. But I'm saying, having experienced people who have slimmed down and people who have bulked up, their character changes.

Deliberately being obtuse, much?

You said she WOULD change if she lost weight. And now your contradicting yourself by saying noone knows if she would change.

Also you said when i mentioned Sophie Reade that it wasnt relevant to the topic as we are talking about Josie not Sophie, and now your comparing Josie to someone else.

You are the definition of contradiction

You are deliberately picking holes in what I said because you know that there is a grain of truth in it and it doesn't fit in with you agenda. So you're being a literalist for the sake of making your point. It's silly. And it's immature.

As have I, and to say some peoples character changes may well be accurate, but to say everyones character would change is a massive and inaccurate genralisation.

This stereotype of "physically unattractive people having to develop their personalities more then an attractive person as they cannot rely on their looks" is complete and utter nonsense and has no scientific backup behind it whatsoever

You cannot dismiss an argument as its based on an assumption and then make your own assumption to back up your own point

He's backed off now as he realises everything he says is contridicting itself.

Making digs at someones weight is WRONG

FACT.

Taking every point literally is a bit daft. I am at work, I writing on a forum... I obviously can't dedicate as much time as you seem to have on your hands making sure the literalists don't jump all over me.

Josie is fat because she overeats and does not exercise. She has no one to blame but herself. If she was THAT bothered, she'd do something about it and she'd feel better about herself. If she list weight she would feel better about herself and we wouldn't all have to creep around say "oh actually she looks great for a big girl" incase we upset you.

I'm at work also, and you don't need to dedicate time to an issue to discover logic. Nobody is jumping all over you, but your argument that a change in her physical appearance would lead to a change in her character is simply flawed and I think you know it too.
